The association dues are due on January 1st, but we give until February 1st without penalty.
A late fee of $25/year will be assessed for any dues not paid by February 15th or within 30 days of the due date in the case of a special assessment.
Note: In addition interest will also be accumulated on past due amounts according to the By-Laws as stated in Minn. Stat. § 549.09. The interest rate schedule can be found at mncourts.gov.
The association has a lien on a lot for any annual or special assessment levied against that Lot from the time the annual or special assessment becomes due. If an Owner fails to pay any annual or special assessment or any installment of an annual or special assessment when due, the Association may record a notice of lien in the Hennepin County land records.
In the case that the association has to record a notice of lien the homeowner will be charged for any expenses related to this.
